i watched high school musical 3 with Nur yesterday.

though naturally my inclination is not towards the production which at first i find is, quite ridiculous and beyond the realistic,
i have to admit... that i pretty much enjoyed it.
not for the obvious teenage eye candy, nor the slick dance moves by cast,
but rather, because i get to be there with her.
she was happy, ecstatic... whatever you want to call it.

and though i naturally dont like it at first, after submerging myself into her own interests with an open mind, the show was not that bad after all.
it was quite moving for me only right at the end, at the scene at the basketball court where the two best friends acknowledge that they have to move on separately in their lives.

admittedly, it puts a dampener to my contentment right there and then...
but knowing that i have someone beside me who is willing to stay through thick and thin, certainly puts back the optimism in my heart.
